Air Chilling is a clean and water-free method for bringing poultry to the desired temperature, ideal for processing fresh products.
Birds are conveyed through a chilling tunnel with controlled airflows, ensuring minimal risk of cross-contamination.
The tunnel can be designed for up to four layers of birds, optimizing space and energy usage. Depending on the tunnel design, chilled air can flow either from top to bottom or cross-line, ensuring even cooling.
